Monthly Dinner

The May Mother’s Day Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, May 16. The dinner will be prepared by Chef Jesus Alcelay and hosted by the Ansotegui Family. Monthly dinners are for our members and their guests. They are not open to the public.

The doors to the dining room will open at 5:45 PM, with dinner served buffet-style at 6:30. Before entering the dining room, please pick up your reservation ticket in the hall, as you will need it to pay for dinner. Adults (11 and up) are $25, and children (age 10 and under) are $10. If you did not prepay online, you can pay in cash, by check, or by credit card at the door.

MONTHLY DINNER BABYSITTING UPDATE
There will be a free babysitting service for children ages 1 – 10 during dinner from 6 – 8 PM. With your dinner reservation, please indicate whether you will need babysitting and provide the names and ages of the children.

PARENTS: Children with a babysitting reservation are expected to follow the babysitter’s rules and instructions, including staying in the basement. Children who leave the designated babysitting area will not be allowed to rejoin that evening, and families of children who do not follow the rules risk being unable to participate in the service in the future. This will be the policy out of fairness to the sitter and to minimize the Center’s liability exposure. The childcare process and implementation are a work in progress, so thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we find what works best for the most members. DINNER RESERVATIONS
Reservations for monthly dinners open at noon on the first day of the month in which the dinner falls. They close at 8 PM on the Tuesday prior to the Saturday dinner. It is preferred that you make your reservations through the Basque Center website. If you are unable to do so, please text or call in your reservation at 208-572-0604. Reservations need to include your name and phone number, as well as the names of everyone in your dinner party. The deadline for dinner reservations is 8 PM on ​May 12.​ Please note that reservations placed by phone or after May 12 will not be accepted. Thank you!
