The Basque Center is a facility located at 601 Grove St. in Downtown Boise, (corner of Sixth and Grove streets). The building is owned by Euzkaldunak, Inc., and is available to the public for rental.
The property includes a bar, dance hall, kitchen, and a gathering room. The main floor and bar are handicapped accessible.
A cultural meeting place, the Basque Center is part of the "Basque Block", which also includes: The Basque Museum and Cultural Center, Fronton Building, and Gernika Basque Pub & Eatery on the south side of Grove St. The north side of Grove St. includes Business Interiors of Idaho, Calle Verde Restaurant, Bardenay Eatery & Distillery, The Basque Market, and Leku Ona Basque Restaurant. The facility is close to downtown shopping, restaurants, and various activities. The Grove Hotel and the Boise Convention Center are one block away, while the State Capitol building is only four blocks north. The Downtown Connector and Capitol Boulevard intersect a block from the Basque Center, so accessibility by car is easy. Parking is available in three nearby lots (small fee required), and a parking garage is within two blocks.
The Basque Center lends itself to occasions such as: wedding and anniversary receptions, banquets, potlucks, cocktail and birthday parties, and reunions.
A full-service bar offers beer, wine, and liquor. The bar is not available as an exclusive rental, but a satellite bar may be set up in the reception hall. By Idaho State Code, alcohol may not be brought onto the premises.
The main hall of the Basque Center is approxametely 74' long by 48' fee wide.
The basement hall is approximately 60' long by 48' wide.
A fully equipped kitchen is also available for rental.
APPLIANCES: Two gas ovens, two convection ovens, grill, 6 burners, coffee maker, walk-in refrigerator (6' x 6'), 1 freezer, and a dishwasher.
DISHES: Cooking and serving utensils, serving ware (bowls, trays, pitchers), dining silverware (place settings for 500), dinner plates (limited supply), cups & saucers (limited supply). Salt & pepper shakers, toothpick holders and sugar and cream caddies (additional fee for condiments).
ICE: Available for purchase. (500 lbs. supply).
PAPER PRODUCTS: Plates, napkins, styro & plastic cups are available for purchase.

A deposit on your rental fee is required to secure a date for rental. The remainder is due 30 days in advance of your rental date.

All rentals include use of tables and chairs.
All kitchen rentals include walk-in cooler, coffee machines and ovens.
CLEANING: Immediately following the event YOU are responsible for the following: take-down chairs, empty all trash cans in dumpster in the alley, and dust mop the floors.
KITCHEN CLEANING: Leave kitchen as you found it! Clean all surfaces, utensils and equipment used. Take out trash. TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT!!
The Renter is responsible to set up and clean up after the function (tables, chairs, table covers, decorations). A fee of $200 will be charged if the Renter does not clean up decorations, put away the chairs, take out the trash and dust mop the floors after the function.
